BioLAB Trainee 2024-2025
Anna is in her final year of a Master's program at the Intercollegiate Faculty of Biotechnology (IFB UG & MUG) in Gdańsk, Poland. She joined the Dolatshahi Lab in July 2024 as part of the BioLAB traineeship program.
During her traineeship, Anna is contributing to a project focusing on maternal-neonatal immunology. Her primary task is to design a genetically modified trophoblast cell line that overexpresses the antibody receptor FCGR3A. This will allow her to explore the receptor's role in IgG transcytosis during the transplacental antibody transfer in pregnancy.
In her free time, Anna enjoys sports, traveling, and spending time with friends. She also has a passion for reading and photography.
